If I had to listen to all of them I fear for Celine and Janet's scores.



I know all of MC and Whits, half of Madonnas and barely any of Janet's.

I might discover some good ol bops so Imma try.

Janet's songs are AMAZING! This is some of her best work. You really should give it a fair shot.

Gosh, Madonna's earlier work sounds the same. Kinda reminds me of Lady Gaga with that generic 80s bops. And WTF is this hank Panky!? RIIP. But Wait Cherish and Frozen slays. An easy 10 for me.

I gave Cherish an 8, which is pretty generous.

I didn't give too many of Madge's songs a score above 5.

Janet got really good rates from me, but four of her songs got a score below 3.

All from the same era too.

Yall better give Cherish a better score than that. It was Madonnas "freshest" song in ha entire career, carefree, cute and playfully sexy. Maybe I'm a bit generous a 9 or 9.5 might work.

Still not done with Madonna. :RIP: And there's a reason why these songs are just top 10s not #1s.

Almost Everything Madonna did from 1989-1993 was absolute garbage and a STRUGGLE to listen to. I expect Janet. to do well in this rate.

But sis, what about Celine? Or Kylie?



Good thing Celine's an album seller.

As with last time, I expect Celine's songs to all fall out first. Just proving that she's not the legend ATRL makes her out to be.

Celine's got 4 #1s, not bad for a French artist.
+ like you said, she's an album seller. She has a good handful of top 10/#1 singles but she doesn't rely heavily on singles. Where as Madge did/does and has stalled at #2 so many times.

and there's a reason the other one isn't in the rate.

I figured everyone would give her all zeroes, so I gave her pity scores tbh.

The lowest score I gave Celine was a 3. I gave her two 9s, and the rest were pretty average.
My comments were ruthless though.

Once I got to her, I found myself giving her higher sores than some songs I liked more from other artists. I probably would gave her lower ones had I started out with her. I gave the Disney song like an 8, based on nostalgia, even though I don't really care for it.

Yeah, I think I was on a bit of a high after all those empowering Whitney songs. I may have been a bit too generous.

Janet's song from the start are underwhelming but "Let's Wait A While" and "Rhythm Nation" are gems. They both got 9 for me. 9.5 for "Let's Wait A While", very nostalgic song.
