Let me comment on this. Missed so much.
Safe and Sound is epic all-around & !7 Crimes is good. No Freedom and Receive are nice.
TBC is amazing esp. the lyrics and video, Can’t Hold Us is such a great jam, Wanted is nice and like stompa ya feet.
YAB, Thrift Shop, Clarity & Entertainment all good.
Stay is such a great piano ballad that was done well and like the emotion of it pour into it.
The monster smashes (not better than LTWYL tho) & must hear that Ryder song.
That Blake song is interesting. Same Love is such a great song and pure poetry rap.
So true about Royals and glad for its success, liked I Was a Fool. Such a nice feeling in that song.
Any can win worst, BL should win even tho it’s not my GP since I liked it a lot, BL or GL for the win the most, don’t’ know any covers. Should of put AM’s cover of Hold on We’re Going Home. I hope that MTV performance don’t win, but will.
Burn or Sky should win pop performance (F), anyone can win for pop performance (M) and will be fine with the winner. Same Love or Stay for the win (fine with S&T th.), anyone but WB, Bruno & JT by default, all dance noms so bad, but opposite for electronic, RAM or True, like all Hip-hop/rap noms, like all noms for R&B esp. that I Hope is here, like all Urban noms, prefer Drake, Em, or Lamar’s album to win, like all male country noms and all female except Jana, Done or Highway Don’t Care FTW, DLMBL, BA, or MBH for the wins, anyone can win for the album one, like all the alt.rock noms for all categories, like all rock noms, I want God Is Dead? to win the most in HR/Metal & rock, anyone can win album.
Get Lucky is epic all-around and enjoyed everything in the song. I remember that when I was commenting on your c/d, Sky was #1 there for most of the time so it’s was not a total surprise. I do like that song and wish I listen to more of it.
Nice noms including Heartthrob, Pure Heroine, RAM, all of the record noms, Royals, Same Love, AM’s song, Lorde, DP, Ellie, LDR, Lorde (again), M+RL, Rihanna, T&S, Entertainment, Mirrors, Same Love (video), all collabos, & Y&B.
Overall, good countdown with such amazing music. This is one of my fav Best ofs.
