I would consider Telephone to be the most generic and kinda the black sheep of TFM. It doesn't sound as dark as the others and I reckon it was most likely included just to make it a single with Beyoncé
Telephone gets a bad rep for some reason, I think its obviously very commercial but I don't think its generic. I think its clever, well produced, and Gaga managed to make it her own.

Plus it made her serve an iconic video. That's more than we can say for some of the more recent singles
People have a strange definition of "generic". 'Telephone' is anything but. Its lyrical content, message / meaning, and production are the opposite of "generic". In fact, it's a bit of amazingly-produced pop perfection.
My favorite part about the song's video is how Beyonce randomly disappears and reappears in the dancing scene.

I would literally change nothing about TFM era. Well, I would've liked Monster to be a 4th single, but it's cool. I'm fine with TFM having a trinity of videos.
She talked in several interviews/tweets that she hopes to release it.
But again, this is Gaga. She may release it or never.
Yeah I just looked it up and she even mentioned it in a video interview, but it was like in October I think. So my guess is its probably not happening now, maybe it was a possibility but considering the drama the media created about this albums performance i'd imagine the label isn't like loving the idea of a second volume hahah or maybe they would? To try again? Idk.
Is onion girl a real title though? Because....idk about that one.

I really hope she scrapped the idea tbh. Or at leaaast change the name of the album. Call it Funpop or something as an EP.
Onion Girl is a real name. She mentioned it in a radio interview (as a song that didn't make ARTPOP)
I'd rather hear songs like Brooklyn Nights, Temple and Tea though.

She should have released Monster.
And then Dance in the dark and then So Happy I could die.
