I can reveal this much.
Luke took Ke$ha in because he found her on MySpace. This is going to sound kind of rapey, but she moved in to live with him in California when she was 19 (?) and shortly after that, they began a relationship. The relationship got sexual and she got attached.
Turns out at the same time Katy was also becoming big. This was how Ke$ha and Katy met and were ***besties*** before Katy got HUGE. Turns out Luke was banging Katy on the side and Ke$ha found out (If you pay attention to interviews with Katy/Ke$ha after they both got their big break, they both act really lukewarm towards each other [no pun intended.]) Ke$ha got pissed at Luke, but didn't really act on it.
She started getting really angry when he wouldn't let her release the Harold Song (apparently the fact that the song made the record was a surprise, Luke didn't want her looking vulnerable) and the rest is history.
Again, I'll get more in depth when this whole situation is resolved, but this is the grassroots of how it started.
