The only difference between her voice now and then is that (A) shes 5 years older and (B) she makes a blatant effort to sing differently. I prefer her vocal stylings from The Fame/Monster era personally. I felt as though her Born This Way vocals were too loud and her "Dope/Gypsy" vocals are too warbly. I mean I get Dope is supposed to sound that way and its critically acclaimed or whatever but I just think it sounds ugly. Dope with Speechless-type vocals would've been great.
