Destiny Fulfilled was basically the 4 of DC. Both were their best efforts at the time, both consisted mainly of ballads and midtemops, both sold less than the previous albums. The only differences are that 4 was acclaimed, while DF had success with the singles.

Love and Free are my faves. Bey's lower register on Love is so beautiful and so strong. The guitar strings... And the Free lyrics are really great and the funky guitar licks. Such a great song. I'm pretty sure she sang 95% of the background vocals, that's why they sound so in sync. Just like the beginning of IF.
