As much as I like Gaga, I have to agree. I think it's because she's been on top since day one. I mean, from 09-11, everyone tried to be like her. The only other pop star who has had her level of impact this century is Britney Spears. And now, it's like, the public doesn't really hate her, they just don't really care about her, and the critics have turned on her. She just needs to get a hit to get her confidence back.

She is definitely receiving less criticism than during her peak though.

Did she expect to be on top forever? For an artist whose whole shtick is about being "self aware" -- which she's not -- about THE FAME, she sure is becoming yet another cliché, in terms of the celebrity "having a verbal rant/mental breakdown because he or she is not as famous anymore." It's very ironic. Where is the foresight?
