Taylor's lyricism is truly remarkable.

I love how simple and spontaneous it all is, yet so effective and doesn't sound cheap at all. Her melodies are stellar as well. I just love the way she does what she does.

She makes it looks so easy.

Where was the logic in placing that song after a track that repeats "I'm so hard, yeah yeah yeah, I'm so hard" and preceding "oh, baby, I'm a rockstar, oh baby I'm a rockstar"? I can't not skip that awful streak of three songs to get to the greatness of Rated R.

It was always the only track I couldn't listen to. The album's one flaw.

He hasn't let THE LORD into his heart so he's an unkind person. Whereas people who have accepted THE LORD in their hearts are really nice like Clump.

It's really not. It's all very narrative and spoken word and simple, it gets boring and there is not much variety in her writing. She never strays from the same theme, love and heartbreak. Most of her songs sound very juvenile and immature and although her melodies are good and she has shown much growth since Fearless, it's not enough for me to be able to say her lyricism is remarkable.
