I'm not the biggest 'Hello Kitty' fan in the world, but that is the type of song where a viral music video could be made from... and I think she still has 'video' power, it's just the promo hasn't been great so almost the whole world hasn't a clue about 'Avril Lavigne' and the last three singles.

It is a dumb, childish song. (Having said that, I still think it's fun...)

But that does not mean these dumb songs are flops, I mean look at these singles
Ylvis - The fox song, PSY - Gangnam Style etc Those songs are awful but still viral hits

I wonder what would be the meltdowns when HK gets a single treatment WW.

I'm fine with HK released as single in Japan. or asia.

Yeah the last trending topics lasted for a whole week, the 'Let Me Go Twitter Campaign' which I started on Bandaids, lots of people joined in and it became a success.

So does everyone else think we should do a trending topic for GYWYL?
I can easily start a thread on Bandaids (and set a date when we should trend etc), but there is not point in doing it unless lots of black stars are on board.

It definitely is a song that could have a viral video but she had a lesbian kiss scene in the RNR music video and it's the biggest flop we have this era so I don't know how she could make HK go viral. I think with a funny dance like Gangam style she would get some views and parodys but not really go "viral"

Ya'll are saying like Avril has so much star power and everything she release is a sure fire smash . Hello Kitty has a Slight chance of becoming a Hit while GYWYL is a Fan Favourite and it should remain an Amazing Album Song .

I really don't know why 'Rock N Roll' flopped so hard.
Well, it's probably cause we kept getting different release dates and very little to no promo...
But anyway, I think the RNR video is very well made, it just never got support from public, which has been proven so much that even Let Me Go video has now more views than RNR.

We know the truth about Avril's star power (it definetly is not what it used to be) and it's been well proven in this era.
Tbh, everything right now is speculation; we don't even know if there will be a forth single.

Some say if there is going to be a forth single - it will most likely be a waste of time anyway, cause Epic probably won't support a forth single (they never done it for the second and third... so why the forth?)

And I agree, what the point in releasing GYWYL if it's destined to flop -

RnR flopped coz they released the audio on youtube then waited for weeks to release it on iTunes.
the mv no matter how fun it is didn't get to save the song.

I love the RNR video. It's my fave vide from 2013 and my fave single as well. I think it flopped because of the awful timing.

Rock N Roll was my favourite song of 2013, I thought it was so much more fun than anything Gaga, Katy, Miley, Britney etc released. Such a shame it underperformed.

Loved Avril since 2004 and I love this album too.It makes me angry it isn't performing well...guess she will always have Asia.Hope we get a 4th single though.
