How do people stan for this? I don't understand.

I find it easier to stan for unreached potential than for **** and hits.
EDIT: Well ****, the censor completely ruined that sentence, nevermind.

Katy's best songs are ''Teenage Dream'', ''I Kissed A Girl'' and ''Waking Up In Vegas''.

What is left for in The Fame Monster era? Stagnance?
Is she supposed to go back to the music?
She tried re-constructing "Bad Romance". "Judas" flopped miserably. "Venus" flopped miserably.
Is she supposed to go back to the imagery?
No one likes or cares about her outfits or videos anymore. Her returns to dark imagery--Born This Way, Applause--flopped.
Her attempts to return to the more authentic artist approach with live piano performances and such were also discarded/ignored.
Here's what I think.
If Gaga released something that sounded like The Fame Monster, it would flop. If Gaga released something like The Fame, it would flop. If Gaga released something that sounded like Born This way, it would flop. There is no room for Gaga to return to the past, because people either
(a) are SICK of the Gaga from the past and everything she stands for or
(b) really just don't give a ****
|
Her only other option is to ****ing retire. I mean, there's nothing left to do, because she's already proven she can't handle criticism or being in full artistic control. There's nothing left to go, because the other options are frightening.

Easy, before Artpop, the duet with Bennet, than the tribute to McCartney, than working on the new album.

The best 8 on 'ARTPOP', 'Born This Way' and 'The Fame' aren't better than the entirety of 'The Fame Monster', except maybe "Speechless".
You're the kind that are in denial that Gaga's going downhill at this point, and keeps acting like she's getting better.
She isn't.
Snap out of the delusion. She already flew right past her prime. 'Born This Way' was the beginning of the end, starting her pretentious, nonsensical ********. 'ARTPOP' only fueled that.
'The Fame Monster' is her best work, and has her best songs on it. To say otherwise is just delusional.
|
Ummmm
Who the **** is in denial? Who's delusional? I know you're not talking about me boy. Obviously the bitch has fallen off the map and I know it. And you bringing up this beginning of the end ******** has nothing to do with the discussion.
Anyways, I don't think TFM was her best work. It was her best ERA maybe, but the music itself is not her best.

Anyway, I gotta go. I forgot to make NYE reservations, so I'll just be roasting marshmallows with my friends in a backyard. I'm so talentless!
Happy new year everyone.!

"I find myself in a weird position, talking to a million selling popstar with a new album out who would rather discuss her collaboration with an experimental theatre director".
How has this interviewer summed up everything wrong with her and this era so perfectly in one sentence?

"Jewels & Trash" is literally the my least played track on the entire record next to "Nope".

I'm sure the Bennett album will blow and oversatiate interest in what was once a cute side-talent of hers.
Another victory for her.
But at this point, all I want is for her to make the music she actually wants to make and stop worrying about her fans and the public, because neither is ever going to be satisfied.

I recall Retro being ride-or-die for Katy like a week ago.
Oh well.

Gaga has been flopping after TFM era because she stopped hiding her face behind weirdo outfits and make ups. People saw her ugly face and her magic disappeared. That's the real tea about her flop. Beauty is the most important thing in the pop world. Also that's why Britney is flopping.

It does, though, because her work, as an artist, and musically, has been declining since 'Born This Way'.
The music is her best work. It was her best era, musically, artistically and visually.
End of.

Hits>>>>>>Unreached potential.
Especially if the hits are good.
Sry but I will not stan because she might be better, I will stan because she is good.

Gaga will be fine if she just says goodbye to the horrible EDM influences. That **** has never and will never sell albums. All she needs is a great pop hit. Or conceive a stunt like BEYONCÉ, but it's hard to imagine another release like that.
