But same sex adoption is illegal in Italy, the government doesn't even recognize same sex relationships, so if he ever finds a permanent man he can only adopt on his own. I don't see it happening.

Aw, I'm aware of the condition, but I feel like these laws are so fragile and it wouldn't be hard to slip under the radar (If he was serious, and really wanted to adopt while in a relationship)
