The fact that the ARTPOP thread was closed is ********, to be honest. Thread bans should have been given out and the moderators should have dealt with it. It is their job to moderate, closing the thread was the easy way out.
That won't change until her focus on infusing art and pop takes a backseat and she looks at other concepts that aren't so offputting. She actually did infuse art and pop more with The Fame and The Fame Monster concepts and there was much clearer vision back then. Of course, that was before she broke it off with Fusari, Boomkack and Troy, but you know...
I think we have to realize that the focus on infusing art into pop will vanish once the album era is over. she does this every era. just how there's not much of the BTW message of go gays! every two seconds anymore. sure she still believes it and it occasionally is mentioned, but it's very much back seat to the new concept. ARTPOP concept is just that, an album concept. once she becomes enthralled in her next album it'll go away. I just hope the next concept isn't as abrasive as BTW & ARTPOP (which I personally love the concepts of, but they're not GP friendly).. honestly the very best thing she could do is have the next album be all about her. get absorbed in telling her personal down to earth stories of love, relatable hardships pre being famous etc.
yeah, the entire team of Radio ARTPOP ranted about it. she said that she watches that show.
regardless if she didn't watch it, emma is a part of the haus (for what reason, really? what does she do? i'm genuinely curious) so i bet gaga knows of the meltdowns
