Well. Jewel sold 350k with her last country album. And i've seen many country artists flop.
What about Melissa Ethridge's last attempt, or LeAnn Rimes's latest album.
Only decent country sells alot, like Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood or Shania Twain's.

Jewel is more folk than country + she´s great, as miranda lambert for example, hence why they "flop"...they´re too good to sell buckloads
