I think Beyoncé her new era will do similar to 4. Okay-selling album (better than most pop contemporaries), underwhelming singles, good tore.

Why the delay though? I kinda feel like there's a struggle in creative direction going on.

Pepcé is definitely doing the JT thing, just going away for a few years so people forget they don't actually like her music all that much and then the comeback hype will give her a guaranteed big opening.

Pepcé is only relevant as a celebrity, as tabloid fodder. Britney also still has that kind of relevance.

Far from it. The difference is that Pepcé feeds "news" to the media and with Britney the media is digging for it.

There's far more interest in Britney's trainwreck life than in Pepcé her life of indulgence and excess.

It's not 2007 anymore Britney at her peak was huge but no one cares that Britney's a train wreck anymore. It's just accepted that she's retarded and talentless while people still retain an interest in the Beyst the same way they retain an interest in her counterpart Kim Kardashian.

People are attracted to tragedies like flies. Britney is a walking tragedy. She will keep attracting those people. Sure it's not her peak anymore but her name will always carry a lot of weight because of the stories associated with it.

It's not the same with socialites like Pepcé and Kim who have to always work for the attention (or get pregnant).
