Album is meh in terms of a body of work the songs themselves are not bad. Could have been better but still a fun listen.
There really is no promo going on and while people are saying I am enjoying the music that's all that matters, as a fan this is true. But for someone who wants to sell a product there should be promotion.
I read something on here about Britney working with someone is this true?
I don't think there is a word that describes the era better than lacklustre. From her creaky vocals, to the tired production, to the lyrics, to the "personal" elements of the album, to the fact that we've heard much of this sound from her before and when we heard it before it was both better and fresher. Isn't this the album she is said to have the most control over? If so, she needs to give back the control to the producers who were able to let the production shine and add the right gloss to make the albums fun.
