it has nothing to do with Beyonce doing pop. a lot of the songs on IASF were great, individual & appealing songs. the girls on here cream themselves over Sweet Dreams. the album was just an iTunes shuffle mess, like how LOUD is.
& Stupid In Love is worse than Broken Hearted Girl, although both are admittedly bad.

But her landmark songs are Crazy in Love and Single Ladies. Both r&b/funk. And it's arguable that Get me Bodied is more of her signature song than Irreplaceable.
If she wants to experiment, she should do it with rock like her idol Tina Turner and leave the Celine Dion/Ryan Tedder esque Lite FM fluff alone.
