This is about religion but my country was actually a pioneer in Europe when it comes to liberal approach to people beliefs.
Now since I live in Warsaw I can tell you not to look too much into it.
First of all the rainbow is not linked to gay rights, it was not the reason to make it. It is overall a symbol of unity for when we had our leadershop in EU some time ago, so there's a reason for nationalist not to like it.
Secondly, it's sad but 11 November is a mess for couple years now
And most importantly, if you want to help rebuild the rainbow again we need about 18k euros for that. Any donation helps
