It doesn't work that way for albums. Sales count towards the release week even it's released early. It's just one hour early so it makes no much difference anyway.

You know, I think Gaga's going to lose some of her polarizing factor this era and just be "there". The GP will more or less stop caring about the controversy and just jam along with good singles and ignore missteps. She won't be as big as with TFM but she won't be as controversial and "uncool" as with BTW.
