I think it will smash in all the major markets (besides Japan). It's been hovering in the 10-20 range in Germany for awhile, rising in Australia, hovering in the Top 10 in the United Kingdom and rising in the United States. The video should push it easily into the top 10 in all of these markets. This single will be a lot more successful than "Applause" worldwide.
One of my coworkers proclaimed today, "Man, I have that Lady Gaga song stuck in my head" and everyone else asked "Applause!?" and she said, "No, her new one, Do What You Want, it's better than Applause" and everyone freaked out so we listened to it and everyone at my work now stans for that song.
Sounds like she was one of us, knowing how to give promo and get the GP interested.
