There are so many better high/low art artists.
Sis it's Gaga, you shouldn't even be surprised.
I mean there are so many directors better than the two photographers that shot the Applause video, so many better than Terry (who'll do the DWUW) one, so many better producers than DWJS, she's just not about that life anymore, unfortunately.

Hmm well honestly Koons and Hirst are probably the most famous modern artists, and I would expect for Gaga to go for the biggest!
Of course I'll always defend her choice because I'm a bit biased, I like Koons And the reflection in the gazing ball. I'd love to see her work with Takashi Murakami sometime though, almost just as famous + Japanese

I know, but I assumed she chose Koons because essentially ARTPOP is a form of high/low art, in this case combining artpieces (high art) with pop music (low art) and Koons is known for that.
But really artists like that, that are much better imo, would be standing in line to work with her.
Idk I guess it's just a matter of taste, I can't stand Koons but I guess Gaga's a fan.

Terry is the director. Apparently she will reenact her hip surgery or something like that. She was seen shooting in a wheelchair with a big hat on. A weird metal outfit was revealed by someone on the set.
