+ Happy, fun. dancey Gaga is a nice change from all the dark gaga we always hear.

Fun Gaga is okay BUT she exceeds and goes beyond when she is dark, thats her element. Just look at the ARTPOP era so far, she is definitely struggling to let go of her dark imagery and its clashing with the songs.
Albums dont need to have a theme but they are better when they do, the songs and the production mesh better together. With ARTPOP I will just select a handful of songs later on like I do with other popstars, put them on a playlist full of other pop music and not worry about the songs that come after it because they are great as standalone tracks, the album as whole tho... I would rather not listen to it much from start to finish and abuse the skip button
I will have my dark Gaga back btw, the troy firing is a sign
