Lady Gaga has promised to reveal a new song for three consecutive weeks leading up to the November 11th release of ARTPOP. She first delivered the hypersexual R. Kelly romp “Do What U Want”. Then the robotic dance number “Venus”. Today she ends the three-week run with a hard-hitting piano ballad entitled “Dope”, which sees explores her battles with addition and other personal demons. “Just one last puff and two last regrets / Three spirits and 12 lonely step / Up heaven’s stairway to gold ,” she sings. Even more impressive is Gaga’s vocal performance, which is on par with Born This Way standouts “You and I” and “The Edge of Glory”. All in all, it’s pretty dope and easily the best track to surface from ARTPOP thus far. Update: The song was produced by Rick Rubin.

Dope and Do What You Want got great reviews, Applause got overall decent reviews, Aura and Venus got mixed reviews. I hope she can have another 70+ album on Metacritic but I don't see it
Am I the only one who loves Dope? Why all the hate?
No, it's amazing
Donatella, on the other hand...
Can't see all the fuss about it, it's deffo among the weakest
I hope it pulls a Scheiße and remains just a fan favourite and background music at fashion shows...
