If it's coming next week, I think she would have released a teaser by now (or today at the latest).

Besides, it's not like the song is plummeting on iTunes. GIve or take a couple of spots, it's been stable since last Friday (sans the new releases). The worrying should occur if the video and her AMAs performances don't push it at all.

This song is such a smash. A music video and performance in the next 2 or 3 weeks will push it in the top ten and everyone will be in trouble.

I don't think this single's main priority is to hit #1, they want this to smash hard during holiday season so it will move albums. So for that reason I won't be very upset if it doesn't hit #1, as long as it does its job in selling albums.
