I think most people born in the early 90s should know who MJ and Madonna were (before his death and her Halftime show happened). You had to be living under a rock to escape MJ's 2005 trial/acquittal and Madonna's Confessions era.

Oh my god same. My mom launched on this TIRADE the other night about how much she hates Beyoncé. And my mom hates pretty much anyone who engages in ostentatious behavior, which pretty much makes Gaga like Satan to her.

The only pop star (using the word loosely) my mom actually likes is Pink, which isn't surprising given Pink is like the pop artist of choice for middle-aged moms.

And I love Britney. Have all her Albums
