I think Beyonce should brand Love on Top as one of her signature songs. It has such a classic feel to it. I still hear it alot on r&b and oldies stations.
@TVX/Nippy's Receipts, would i be lying if i said that this line is kinda iconic to black ppl at least : ...U a bad girl and your friends bad too
U got the swag sauce you dripping swag-goo...
i hated that line lol. kanye

Wasn't it #1 on the R&B chart for 8 weeks or something? That song and "Party" actually did insanely well on Urban and Urban AC. The other singles tanked everywhere though.
I hope she has similar efforts on the new album. Like Cap said, it's in her interests to hop on the introspective urban~electronic vibe that's all the rage right now. I think she could come up with a few good tracks.
Can't wait for the Drake ft.
I hope Beyonce really delivers on the next album. I Been On the instrumental is incredible. The futuristic r&b/opera thing is great. She just f*cked it up with the stupid rap on it. A waste of a nice beat. Bey should really be forward-thinking this time with her R&B and Afrobeat fixation. 4 showed signs of it but it really was more retro/oldschool than progressive.

No shade but Ciara topped those charts a few months back. There's nothing classic about Love on Top or Party.
Haha yeah probably. I think the 4 era kinda made her more relate able to the gen pop.

still one of the best songs ever
Oh god i hate BTINH (and its annoying mother, Irreplaceable) Big Girls Don't Cry If I Were A Boy + Halo >>>
Not sure why ppl here hate them so much lmao.
Countdown/Party/Love on Top their releases were all a bit of a mess. All came within weeks of each other.
Countdown/Party though good songs were too urban to crossover at that time and were pointless as singles . She should have just focused all the input on Love on Top. It could have been the Irreplaceable to save the era esp. after the exposure it got at the VMAs.
