It's great that they're moving on from WB. That song is not a hit and there's no amount of payola or promo that will change that. At best they could've forced an "Applause" situation (screams radio payola b/c digital sales are so underwhelming) but then it would've looked even worse when the album still does horrible first week numbers.

You Lost Me was a ballad ballad and it was released at a time where dance pop music was reaching an all time high. I don't think Perfume is going to be THAT slow and even if it is, it's much more suited for success in the current musical climate.

My fave Britney photo and look this era, would be a great album cover (although kinda similar to FF), someone should photoshop that album cover title to this pic...

She already confirmed "Perfume" is like a kind of territorial song, her perfume on the man before the other girl . . . or something like that.

I'm hoping Perfume is a mix of Everytime and Unusual You.

The fact that the rca deemed it a career song...meaning this will be the song that takes her out of dance pop and more a/c...and Larry and Britney are here for it is a plus.
The fact that orbit played her most underrated ballad shadow for inspiration and we might get her best vocals ever will be a plus.
It is more relatable based on her description...a plus.
Gp will he amazed by her vocals and fairweathers will flock...a plus.
It could easily get at least one live performance
and if she nails it...its smooth sailing.
This isn't a song comin off of a dated first single and after loads of bad press dissing other artists at their peak and having bad attitudes in interviews.
We shouldn't be worried if this is what they are doing to transition her once again.
First teen queen, then sexy pop vixen, then dance pop guru...now a more adult Britney.
I expect this song to be on pop.and hot ac and maybe ac radio if uer team and label are pushing for it.
Anyways, they need to follow this pattern.

perfume will not debut high but i hope its a grower ... i think they release it too soon but ok .... the album cover is ok.. nothing spercial.a cover like adeles 21 would be great
