Suddenly, everything makes sense.
it's clear that "Applause" being a slow-burner hit was actually planned all along. It didn't explode and fizzle out because we were still months away from the album release. Instead, it was holding steady in the Top 10 for two months making old fans and the general public aware that Lady Gaga is coming back.
Now, that we're just weeks away from the album release it's time to go all out:
1) DWYW smashing iTunes as a promo single will shut up everyone that doubted her and bring new fans with it's fresh R'n'B sound.
2) Venus will be the classic Gaga club thumper to make sure her big fanbase creams themselves.
AND with the promo extravaganza before the album release, this era is off to a perfect start! I must give it out to The Haus and her management because this is turning out to be her best planned album release to date.
