For one week...the week before the head shaving. I made excuses for her partying at night while the nanny was caring for her kids in the daytime.
I remember lying to myself downplaying her outrageous behavior and then got angry when I saw that she took the best opportunity for a comeback and trashed it.
I remember the world almost stopped when she announced her divorce.
I remember every media outlet covered it. Lesbian Rosie was munch ready and hysterical on the view about it.
It was my first year in my career and even we were talking about that person she married and how much a loser he was and that he better invest his money (I think he was only to get 900k or something for 2 years of marriage).
Then Paris BLEEPING Hilton happened and I still made excuses but in my mind I was like uh oh
The last picture (which I can't seem to find anywhere) i saw was in Jan/Feb 2007 where she was swinging on a swingset looking absolutely pitiful and as if she came straight from the club and put a dirty coat on top of her. I feared for the children.
At that point, I said bleep this she's doing this to herself and checked out for a week.
Then the headline on E! news Britney Shears. I woke up earlier and saw x17 online and couldn't believe my eyes.
So short story long
I was unfaithful for one week.
