First of all, of course Crazy Kids is dumb but its very much typical ke$ha. I hate will.i.am and I hated his ridiculous verse but the idea of that song as a single wasn't ridiculous, wasn't out of place for her, and probably could've done well had it been treated differently.
Timber is a typical Pitbull song I mean its whatever, but her part in it is just so nothing. Her vocals are nothing, she doesn't contribute her own verse, she only sings when this is an occasion where her sing/talking would've been perfect. I just think her feature is so incredibly lacking and the song itself is just nothing and yet you're all down for it and it makes no sense to me. I could understand if she had a verse in the bridge, but she literally just sings the chorus and its not even that good and idk where you have the gall to call it clever or mature. I think you're all just loving the fact that she has a chance at a Top 10 hit and that she looks ****ty covered in glitter in what we assume is the photoshoot that you don't even care what it sounds like.

Crazy Kids is KINDA typical Ke$ha. There are so many parts of it you can vividly tell she did not write, though

You're right, it as a single was probably necessary and nonetheless I like the song, I think she pulls it all off and it sounds natural.
I think she sounds great in her feature

I don't think she needs to sing talk for the rest of her damn career. Maybe that's just me. And she's gonna look amazing in the video, too. So that's why we're here for it. I'd call it more "mature" than her previous music because she's not whiny and rapping and saying things like "them boys they want my coochie"

And, possibly an opinion, I'd say it's pretty clever to use "timber" in reference to "it's going down". Really clever, actually. I like it. And the song sounds great, at least to me. I love the harmonica inclusion and though the dance-country trend seems to be bandwagony it still works for me. This is a sound Ke$ha fits great in, nearly perfect in. It seems like closer to her vision of the music she wants to make.
And additionally, that glittery photoshoot is not for Timber
