So Australian iTunes updated and they didn't put "Timber" in the new music section, so it's currently only relying on radio (doing well at 18).

Did the same thing with "Die Young" too. -_-

When she sings the second chorus after Pitbull's first rap, the claps, the country-sound make it sound like DY's second chorus. That's what I hear.

Actually both of those songs have had constant sales. Its just that since the songs around them are in the dark red Applause and The Fox are default dark green because they moved up on iTunes.

The song is built the same, chorus, verse, chorus, verse, chorus.

I don't hear it maybe same structure but the song sounds a bit more like Wake me Up by avicii

That's basically all pop songs tho. (minus the bridge, which it doesn't need, since it's got the post-chorus / whoas)

I've actually caught myself singing I hear your heaaarrrtbeat when the chorus starts.

Most pop songs on the radio don't start with the chorus.

Wow, it's like everything is aligning to stop this going top 10. Glee seem to have a relevant hit that might go top 10 soon, sitting at 18 currently.

I have no doubt it'll get there when airplay builds up but it would be nice to get there now for a bit since it's so close.

In Pitbulls verses you can kinda hear the guitars from Die Young. Thats the only time I hear DY similarities. But its produced by Dr.Luke so its not shocking at all. Die Young sounded like Flo Rida's wack song. will.i.am and Mileys Fall Down sounded like Die Young. ... He recycles a lot. But on Timber it's not obvious like the others, so thats a good thing.
