165k 2nd week, around 69% drop.

Considering WB 1st week numbers, we have reasons to be worried, so I decided to expected the worst... That way MAYBE we'll get the best.

Yep. Before the shutdown, I would skip tracks on my top 25 until it went to WB so I can walked in with my Dre, Beats listening to WB before I flash my access pass to the security guards.

Well, I'm not worried about the album after the FF era of bad promo prior to first week sales.
I like the backtracking but I mean it's your opinion and I respect it.

Their power is strong enough not to go against them first week but 2nd week. I mean look at Drake's 2nd album sales with huge radio hits.
I'm just glad Bieber's album isn't released then. His first week is a problem. His 2nd week not so much.
I think if there is a minimum of what her team will do is get her a #1 album and get the album certified gold.

I just can't see her team not allowing those two things especially having two months to plan knowing how the 1st single isn't smashing.

My thing is I just want her to be #1 in the 250k range. I really want 300k+ but at least give us 250k around December...seriously.

The album will clearly face commercial problems, thats almost a fact now.

I've noticed that there aren't as much people here for Britney as the way they were before with her previous eras, and I think those are the consecuences of "Femme fatale" after the robotic behavior, bad performances, out of shape body, and catchy but uninspired album you just can't expect suddenly and magically everyone to be here for her this time.

Based only from I've seen after "Work bitch" this album will open with a really moderate amount, something between 160K - 180K, and that thanks to December time and her name alone , otherwise numbers could be even worse.

Things could get better if she releases a second solid more conventional single that shows a different side of the album, something like the first single was to show she improved her dancing while the second one would show she improved her vocals with a more emotive vibe, in that case opening sales could be way better something around 250K - 300K like we all want.

The good thing is that right now I'm not stanning for commercial success, I feel good and satisfied with herself as an artist again, love her dancing, looks, she is writing her music , the video rocks and I'm just relaxed enjoying it

She needs a catchy, heart-wrenching second single like Wrecking Ball that turns heads.

Would you really predict anything over 200k as of right now?

Femme Fatale only sold 276k because of the first couple of days. I remember seeing articles showing how much of a drop the sales had by the end of the release week, therefore making the predictions go down and down. I'd say Britney's image (looks and performance-wise) last era damaged her even more than the breakdown. They NEED to do something other than just pop a (amazing) video online and on the worst US TV channel ever in order to show the country she's not that person anymore.
