Why? If anything, you should jumped ship when the Born a Gay cover came out. The ARTPOP cover is not even bad. Yall just expect too much from her plus she thinks too highly of herself. She is not art, just pop and the sooner she accepts that the better.
Paula may have been a bit too "local", I must give him that. LG Night Shamalayan has no Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, he was quite unique indeed from going from the very top thanks to Legend's mentioning in one of her interviews, to the very bottom now with Applesauce being a catastrophic flop and Artflop's cover resembling the state of her career. A CiCi-section certified mess.
ARTPOP's cover seems okay but the fact that they used a widely known image makes it seem really cheap, like it could be the product of any high school art class project.
My problem with the pop girls covers this year is that the designs are so crass and blunt. Just because something is "ironically kitsch" doesn't mean it's suddenly great.
