.. But I do understand and know my radio terms.. Never in my years on ATRL have I seen Rolling Effect be called anything but how I've posted about above.. We have the "Holiday Effect" which is due in part to Chart Countdowns, Xmas Airplay, etc.. We have New Years Effect, which is basically the week after New Years where all the songs normalize and **** gets crazy.. And then we have Rolling Effect, which happens after the first week of unusually high Airplay where the song gets a way lower amount of spins due to the high airplay caused by a record deal or payola..
