Rolling effect happens every day after the 7th day. But let's not bring this into the topic because it'll lead to a few pages of meaningless arguments. A small update just simply means a small update regardless of rolling effect. It's only useful when it comes to determining whether a single has peaked.

"Effect" refers to the - occurrence during the 8th day of airplay, I think. However, rolling never ends. "Rolling" just refers to a comparison between today and last week at the same time.

The fact that Applause recovered from last week's update with a positive one and almost 1 million is great.
