It's called Tropico but it's not tropical in the slightest and it has some weird religious theme where she sings her worst songs
I dont get it tbh

It has nothing to do with being Tropical. LMAO a mess
It's about Adam and Eve finding their way to innocence. The Album is Called Paradise.
And if you look at back cover there's a painting of The Garden of Eden with the Temptation in the backgorund.
Walt Whitman:
Quote:
I sing the body electric,
The armies of those I love engirth me and I engirth them,
They will not let me off till I go with them, respond to them,
And discorrupt them, and charge them full with the charge of the soul.
Was it doubted that those who corrupt their own bodies conceal themselves?
And if those who defile the living are as bad as they who defile the dead?
And if the body does not do fully as much as the soul?
And if the body were not the soul, what is the soul?

Whitman is my daddy, Monaco’s my mother,
Diamonds are my bestest friend.
Heaven is my baby, suicide’s her father,
Opulence is the end.
We get down every Friday night,
Dancin’ and grindin’ in the pale moonlight.
Grand Ole Opry, we're feelin’ alright,
Mary prays the rosary for my broken mind.

I was an Angel
Living in the garden of evil
Screwed up, scared, doing anything that I needed
Shining like a fiery beacon

Gargoyles standing at the front of your gate.
Trying to tell me to wait,
But I can’t wait to see you.
So I run like I'm mad to heaven's door.
I don't wanna be bad,
I won't cheat you no more.
Roses, Bel Air, take me there,
I've been waiting to meet you.
Palm trees in the light,
I can sleep late at night
Darling, I'm waiting to greet you,
Come to me, baby.

As you can see she's very inspired by Walt Whitman and literature and she's trying to tell a story by using these songs. In fact, the album
paradise is inspired by The Garden Of Eden.
Born To Die is inspired by Lolita.
I'm not doing a good job at explaining this. I'm sure rbautz can do a better job.
