Strange how y'all rave about songs "smashing" during the era but when the era ends and the stats are somewhat comparable to someone's "flop" era y'all downgrade how the songs performed. The album was not a success conwsidering how the songs performed. Most of the sales are from week one.
And there wasn't some earth shattering difference worldwide either.
But meh.
isn't Judas considered as a flop? it didn't even get airplay. BTW & TEOG are the only big hits out of those songs. the album sold a good amount no matter how you spin it.
Now sis, let's not act like Diamonds didn't struggle a biT when it first came out
Big sis, struggle would be RTW. Diamonds was randomly announced 2 weeks before it was released and was rising every week until she was #1. RTW was just a fish outta water ass flop.
Mmmm hmmm. I was at one of her concerts for one.
Most of her concerts don't have just stans there.
A lot of those idiots thought RTW was a top 10.
And when she majestically came out of the ground, everyone sang along.
You just shaded yourself by using the term "valid benchmark" in a Ke$ha/Gaga stan war. It's pop music, not a Use of Force resolution before the United States Senate.
So there's only Rihanna left to yet release from MAJOR pop gurls?
She'll put the other girls to shame as she always does with her flawless, iconic, and legendary lead singles. But for now I'm just enjoying WB's slayage and the Monsters being pressed.
How many more albums does rihanna have to release before she can hit tht 300k first week? will she ever going to get one? I mean it took her 8 albums to get tha 240k first week sales.
