A GIRLS education campaigner is calling for mainstream radio to ban singer-songwriter Bruno Mars' new sexually-charged single.
Mother of two Dannielle Miller was outraged when she heard the explicit song Gorilla describing a sexual encounter between a young girl and a man she calls "Daddy" while she was driving her children to school.
"As a mum of young kids I get offended when I hear lyrics where men refer to women as ****s. This is not a song that respects women," Miller said.
"Anyone who asks you to call them "daddy" in the bedroom is just 50 shades of wrong."
As an author and co-founder of Enlighten Education, which runs workshops for girls in high schools, Miller said she has one question for Mars who won a Grammy for best pop vocal performance in 2011.

"How would you feel about someone saying that to your daughter?"
Mars' soft pop songs about love have struck a chord with teenagers. Gorilla is a departure into a more explicit genre.
Miller, of West Pennant Hills, said sexualised songs that had references to violence towards women should not be played on mainstream radio like NOVA.
Commercial Radio Australia has a code of ethics but it doesn't apply to radio lyrics or the time of day songs are played, according to their website.

SONG LYRICS - RIGHT OR WRONG?
"Yeah I got a fistful of your hair
But you don't look like you're scared
you're just smiling tell me "Daddy, it's yours"
Cause you know how I like it you's a dirty little lover
If the neighbours call the cops, call the sheriff, call the SWAT, we don't stop
Those lyrics are pretty bad. When I first listened to the song I was convinced they would never play it on the radio. I'm kind of surprised they are, and this is coming from a fan of his music.
Oh god, not jessica caban do nawt remind me of her...
Their relationship is serious, some rumors say that they have secretly got engaged, the good sis gives him everything he wants and more. Why do you think UJ is full of sex songs.
Gorilla is basically a scene from their bedroom adventures.
