Back then it was not very usual to premiere the song the same day as iTunes release. Usually songs had week or two of just getting airplay before getting the iTunes sales. Radio ignored Avril so it was pointless tho.

Also Britney's HIAM was released the same day as WTH and it actually was among the first songs with iTunes release the same day as premiere. So Avril got completely shaded.

Basically, if Avril just hopped on RCA's dick in 2009 and recorded what they "pushed for" without any drama, they would "support" her the 4th album era & she could still be in a strong position right now....It is what it is tho.

I agree, moving to Epic was a pointless move. They are too much of a flop to make her pull a comeback. I don't know what Avril is thinking though, she's been so messy this era.

I honestly think she gave up at this point.
I mean, she's married and she sure knows the mess that is going on with her promo camp. I can't blame her for not putting any effort any more at this point.

I'm just saying that it's too easy to say now she made a mistake leaving RCA back then.

Then she should just release the album and call it a day.

I think the biggest mistake was signing with Epic, mostly because of L.A. But It's done now and I don't think she'll change record labels again. Oh well.

Anyway, why can't EPIC pull a Fading West if there is no way they can release the album on the day it was first announced. Release an EP preview before the actual album instead of letting greeneyed leak their tracks. It's not like hype is building up. It's tearing down and the longer they wait, the more the excitement dies.

I think I'm jumping ship for real. I would never jump ship because an artist is failing but RNR just isn't doing it for me.

I haven't been anything other than a casual fan of select songs since TBDT anyway.

I'll likely download a few song (17) during the album release week and will come back once she releases something I support but for now bye friends
