It's still too early to say that. Plus the sooner they release another single, the sooner they run out of singles. The song just needs some promo.

You realize the song just dropped out of the top 500 on Itunes, right? This song is DEAD. Sh*tty c-list performance slots (probably filled with equally shite performances from Avril) won't save it.

How the **** did it drop that far in only a few days? It was in the top 100 only a couple days ago...

I am here for them to move to 3rd single as well & let the Jimmy Kimmel performance promote it in the 1st week. I mean it is SO obvious RNR is dead. Even if the performance pushes it back to top 100 on iTunes (which is delusional to think), the AI is horrendous & the song would fall again soon after.

Releasing Hello Kitty would launch another meltdowns in the fanbase, but from what Avril said, she is very excited about the song & said it is the most electronic song on the album & that could possibly work well. Let's just pray the song isn't as **** as the title suggests.

The fact that it's out of the top 500 despite being released just two weeks ago is WHY it's time to give up. NOBODY is here for it and her fanbase is dead.

The issue is that apparently the song is about having fun and has like a slumber party theme. Three similar singles might mean that Hello Kitty follows the same fate as RNR. She needs to release a mid-tempo or a ballad about something else.

I think the problem is not the theme of those songs, it is the production, vocal producton & overall dated/****** sound. I mean no one is here for a pop song that tries too hard to be pop-rock but fails.
Also, HTNGU & RocknRoll ARE mid-tempos. Radios would pay dust to her ballad even more than to those two songs. If anything, rhytmic melodic uptempo can do the wonders. At this point even WTH-sized single would be acceptable.

They could do another single in the US I guess, but RNR is still doing okay (but struggling) in Canada and a number of other countries. It would be weird to throw all that potential away, and I'm assuming they would want to release a third single at the same time in all markets.

A WTH-sized single would be great. I really hope they don't release that ballad with Chad. That'd be SO predictable and tacky (and I'm guessing it sounds corny as hell as well). I just don't know why Epic can't get its **** together. RNR as a first single with that video AND the discount HTNGU received could have probably gone top ten.

I agree with you, but Epic BARELY has any promo lined up for the US, so I doubt they have anything lined up internationally.

It is REALLY messed up how Epic and Avril seem to have 'accepted' defeat like RCA did with Bionic and You Lost Me rather than fight

I don't know if that song, but I think they should release another kind of song, because both HTNGU and RnR have been underwhelming, general audience didn't bother much and her own fans weren't very excited either. I think they should try with a "less commercial" song or with a ballad just for a change, but I'm afraid it'll be too late when that 3rd singles drops

RnR is spectacular though. It lacks promo so there's not much to get excited about.
