"Dirty Love" and "Wonderland" are the only songs that even come close to being "experimental" (and they're not). The rest of the album is the same old dance-pop she's been doing for years. No evolution, no growth.

Katy had MEMORABLE hit after hit, Ke$ha's only memorable single is Tik Tok. Ke$ha's singles usually flipped and flopped on the charts going up and down and couldn't seem to touch the success of Tik Tok while Katy continued to top herself success and music quality wise. "I Kissed A Girl" had a huge impact, but California Girls had BIGGER impact, leading up to Firework being a huge hit. Now that Katy has the record shattering Roar under her belt, shes successfully lead herself into legend status.

Katy also promotes herself in a much better fashion.

Katy also has better videos, better performances and has been on tour alot more than Ke$ha.

I love Ke$ha, but she tried really hard to look dirty. Face paint, heaps of glitter, torn clothing, uncombed hair, mismatching clothing, and a "I-don't-give-a-****" attitude were all a part of her first era. Breaking away from takes a long break and a great sound. She came back with the overall same look, but switched to a more cartoony in her appearance and less dirty which was hardly an upgrade.

Also her videos suck. For Katy, every video is an event that reaches TV screens in an age of a music-less MTV.

Thinking of You, Only Wanna Dance with You, Love into The Light, Past Lives, Last Goodbye are all dance pop songs and not different from her past material?
I know you hate her and try your best to make her look bad but please but more effort in your drags.

She's slightly more relatable in my experience with her lyrics; her's are more general and can be made to apply to most listeners, whereas Ke$ha kinda has a party niche.

Where is the proof that K$ hates Luke?

A lot of it is image. Like who's is Kesha's audience when her performances are so vulgar? Parents aren't comfortable enough to let their kids see her, and the older generation don't take her seriously.

While yes, both girls had great songs/hits, I believe it's Katy's team combined with the structure of her songs that led her in the path of such success. While Ke$ha has undeniable bop after bop, Katy's discography comprises mainly of pop - that is she had a mix of ballads, dance-pop, and general pop - all of which saw release. While Ke$ha had similar songs in her discography, the only songs that saw release were the uptempo electropop songs, causing the gp to believe that she only made songs of that manner. Unfortunately, I believe that this is the causing factor in Katy's reign and Ke$ha's current situation I'm hoping Ke$ha comes back strong with her next album though.

Pretty much. She didn't grow a bit from the previous eras. Obviously "Last Goodbye" is epic and shows she can do different songs but the thing is she doesn't release different song as singles. Have you ever listen closely to her singles? They all talk about ONE thing: partying.

I think the only "proof" there is is that K$ said she was "forced" to sing the lyrics to "Die Young" and the fact that she said in her book that Dr. Luke "convinced" her to make another dancepop record.

I do have to wonder what she meant by "forced," though. Like, I wonder how much input she actually had on Warrior.
