You don't understand. Just because someone buys a song, does not make them a fan. Buying a single doesn't equate to that person buying the album. Miley is on a downward trajectory, people will get sick of her image. And if she continues to force it, she will get a big backlash. Every female artist, that once had a cleaner image, then goes sexual takes a hit with their sales. It happened to Britney, Christina, Mariah, and so on.

TTWE sold close to 3M in a long run. But We Can't Stop will top 3M first. :P

Britney has already impacted pop culture and is the walking signpost for all the good, bad and ugly of a 21 st century pop world.
Most artist make more impact their first decade in the game.
At this point she needs to make sure music evolves while also being more relatable to the masses so that she can maintain her legacy of success. She needs to continue #1 albums, platinum certs and top 10 rankings.
While she and eminem are tier 1 for the 21stcentury generation the new generation is rising.

You all underestimate her.
She is completely capable of getting #1s her first two singles with the new methodology. Streaming, lyric/audio videos and videos not released during the single debut will only add to its longevity. If her music is next level the way theyve hyped it to be then we have nothing to worry about.
