I was surprised that they didn't cast famous people.

that said, I'm glad Ian and Alex Pettyfer (dear lord so glad that didn't happen) didn't get the role.

He's come a long way from being the annoying Nathan in QAF. He was nowhere before last year and now look at him.

Congrats.

Both roles are obviously miscast but it's not surprising since no legitimate high-profile actor or actress would go anywhere near this movie. A guaranteed box office bomb regardless of how successful the books were.

Love the guy but I'm iffy about the girl.

Though whatshisface from Vampire Diaries seemed to be eager for the role but I heard E.L. James didn't like him.
