Katy was always going to top Gaga in single sales, she is a singles artist, something reflected by the early pre-order sales of 5k despite having what is likely to be one of the biggest selling singles of the year at the moment.
I don't have to convince myself, i'm just stating facts.
I'm laughing at how ARTPOP was #2 within a day of its pre-order release and has stayed in the top 30 ever since.
Meanwhile, PRISM struggled to break top ten, stayed at #10 for like a day and is now falling and is at #14.
And as Billboard said, these facts cement Gaga's status as an albums artist and Katy as a singles artist.
