I think even if something surprisingly started to become a threat to #1, Capitol will make a move. They are waiting for the right time to release the video.

I'm still pressed that Bad Romance actually had a week wherein it's sales and airplay was higher than TikTok and yet TikTok managed to snatch the number 1 because of yahoo activity. like wtf.
"Bad Romance" was never higher than "Tik Tok" in sales during its time at #1.
Very impressive on Katy's part. She's yet to release a music video and just did her first promo slot for the song. I'm sure she can sneak in a week at #1.

Bad Romance peaking at #2 was unfortunate, but Tik Tok deserved every 9 weeks of its #1 reign.
You're the most impartial monster and I applaud that. How do you think Applause will do down the road? I feel like the VMA effect will push it to 225K-250K this week, but after that, I'm worried. This 163K is supposed to reflect the video release push right?
