What the hell do you think she's doing now? We've had no video, interview, or album promotion from her in like six months. She's still relevant when she "isn't on" so why wouldn't she be when she grabs pop music by the balls?

Anyways when rihanna takes a break it's just that, like her or not she is a household name and into the future will still release hits. I personally think she shouldn't release anything until mid to late 2014 or 2015. She has racked up a lot of success in such little time to hold her down for years

- So assuming she does take a break after this tour like she planned. She still has things to promote like River Island, Styled to Rock, MAC, etc so she might be gone from the Hot 100 but she'd still be seen in the media.

- Because the way I see it Rihanna has already proven she can dominate alongside big names like GaGa and Bey. The only other artists the media seems to be focusing on more now are the Disney girls. But even still their target audience seems to be very young whereas Rihannas varies from age groups. Ive never thought of Katy as a direct threat to Rih (even though she too is a force on the charts) only because once again the target audience is different. So unless Roc Nation finally plans on making some moves with Rita in the U.S Rihanna seat on the throne is pretty safe and secure.

Girl, River island and MAC have gotten more promotion on her IG than any single this era. Rihanna tweets like one iTunes link and somehow she thinks thats sufficient promo.

The only reason why she even put out an album every year was because she knew that if she didn't, she would fade. After 8 years of annoying the hell out of everyone people might not want her back. After all, her 1st week sales are dismal

She has a very recognizable voice that suits different genres, she looks good (or at least cute) no matter what she rocks, the music she picks out is catchy as hell... She can afford to take a break and the GP will still be here for her. I mean, Rihanna, Beyonce and Gaga, they're household names now.
