Granted Katy may not secure the sales Taylor received in RED's first week, but she has become a household name and is the face of American Pop music.
Frankly, i can see her nestling at the summit for a good few months, often interchanging with her own singles. I see Miley, Lorde and Drake (just hold on, we're climbing the charts :keir) as her main competition for #1.

I agree. I think Roar will be a monster hit at #1.
Other mainstays in the Top 10 for late Q3 & Q4 will most likely include Drake, Lorde, Avicii, Lady Gaga (in some capacity whether Applause or another single), JT (who has to have a smash lying on 2 of 2), Miley obviously & Robin Thicke for another month or two.
Katy Perry also with her promo singles. And I'm expecting an Eminem single soon.
