I honestly feel like since Bey and Brit are the only two really left from the old school generation of new pop girls, that their fanbases shouldn't be so harsh towards each others. They've outlasted a ton of others and will continue to do so.

I don't understand this race for getting new music. Femme Fatale was released months before 4 in 2011. Neither of them have had a new era since. If anything, Britney is suppose to have an album out before Beyonce.

Beyonce is still relevant without music, performing and endorsement deals do the trick. That's PROOF that Beyonce doesn't have a music legacy. Also explains why R&B music has been dying year by year since 2003, and 2011 was officially the funeral. Britney's music legacy remains unbothered with her Blackout album being the most influential album of the past 5 years and her teen pop albums influencing and impacting pretty much every teen act debuting after 1999. And let's not forget Toxic, Everytime acclaim and HIAM impact and influence. Actually, all Beyonce has is an acclaimed music legacy, and we all know that impact and influence are BY FAR the most important.

Actually thats the point, Britney's new musical rival is Beyonce for the reasons you exposed.

For a long time Xtina used to be Britney's main rival, but lets face it, she is not a rival to Britney anymore, that rivary was clearly won by Britney, so whats next?

Well Both Beyonce and Britney are direct peers, they are contemporaries, and have been here for the same amount of time, after all of these years, Beyonce can still get platinum albums and Britney can still get hit singles by her own. So its natural they're new rivals now (for their fanbases).
