The problem is people trying to decide what's too far.
You either have no rules, or have rules deciding what's too far.
Doing either will leave a large crowd unsatisfied.

I'd like the moderators to make note of the fact that
this IS a repeat of NHB, a thread which of course is now closed.
While closing NHB received a large negative reaction, things calmed down months later.
It was a huge move, but the only one that could be considered somewhat of a compromise.
Nobody could complain about posts in there, and nobody could complain about not being able to post about whatever they want in there. The thread was finished.
Will people still go over the top? Yes.
Will people still find something to complain about? Of course.
But this is simply how it'll always be - it's only worse with SYG still open.
Of course I'm part of the crowd that wants to stay unfiltered and 'have fun', but scenes like this pretty much destroy whatever fun there is to be had.
Like I said, I just want the mods to consider closing SYG.
It doesn't have to be right now, but a weeks notice would be just
lovely.
This is my last opinion on the matter.
