I wanted to remove everything from the OP, but certain moderators wanted to include ONLY this and ONLY that. And then it became a debate of, "if we allow this but don't allow this how is that fair"?

In my opinion, it's designed to be largely un-moderated as it advertises. Different people have a different level of sensitivity, and there are some who don't advocate any of it.

That was the "compromise" we came to was to discuss things on a case-by-case basis with no set rules.

We would decide each offense standalone, but apparently that isn't working.

Yeah, it definitely leaves room for a bit of gray area when there are rules in the OP.
