I love the song, I think it is going in a new direction for her artistically. It is nothing groundbreaking, of course, but I don't think it would have been wise to start off the era with something too controversial/divergent from her style which has done quite well for her.

The lyrics are VERY promising that we just got today, so I am really excited for Prism! I am hoping for some major OOTB throwback style and I think that's part of what we're going to get!

And it was so funny cause, no joke, there happens to be a Little Monster in my class that always hates on Katy. He was sitting there in silence, not even acknowledging it.
